Count me in here. I well remember crying into my beer after Pete et al balked on last years efforts. I believe I even went so far as to drop myself from this list as some sort of futile protest (proving what I don't know).

Somehow I felt that if I publicly poked him in the chest and cried BS on it, that the band would do it just to prove me wrong. And lookie, it appears to be working.

In all seriousness, I'll gladly eat humble pie for being such a naysayer. I for one am very excited about this new effort. I expect to love it. And I also expect some old die hards to hate it. However, I'm worried about Roger on two counts. He picks the set lists doesnt he? Even Pete says in the Relix interview that Roger is not very receptive to material that's not tried and true. Probably because of the second reason I'm worried about him. His voice. Not so much for the studio effort but for the live performance. His style certainly is a challenge on the vocal chords. 60 year old vocal chords mind you. Of course what I'm never worried about is Roger's passion. I hope carries the day.

But I'm so glad to see Pete so full of creative energy that he apparently wants to share. He's coming at the music business with his middle finger raised in salute. Bring it on boys.
