Barbara, I believe the Platinum Membership is again the American Express 
pre-sale that we've seen the last several tours.
<standard 'could be wrong' disclaimer applies>
Go to ticketmaster.com , search 'the who'...pull up a show, and look for 
tix.
The options will be there.

Best seats in current pre-sale are already far back for singles.
More seats will be released.
Floor seats always tend to become available as the show nears.
Get yourself very familiar with how ticketmast.com works.
Set up an account.
Use a fast connection (dsl, etc.)
Check every day.
watch the lists for people dumping tix as they move up.

I'm holding off and will go to venues without tix for at least a couple 
shows.
Friends of mine always do that, and usually always end up with front and 
center at cost.
If they can do it, so can you! (and me, I hope).
