I don't believe that the release date was yesterday. Even though Hamish
said so himself, on Pete's site. Amazon still says 24th July, and I still
believe that date. The Wire & Glass promo card handed out after the concert
says 17th July. It's all quite a mess, isn't it?
I've got the day off work tomorrow, and I'll be going into Brighton. I'll
check the record stores while I'm there.
What Hamish MAY have meant is that it'll be available for download from the
10th....
I've just checked Napster: nothing there.
Can someone check iTunes?
But... I've just checked Pete's website. He's got a new diary entry up.
It's a long essay that'll make you go "WHAAATT!!!!??" when you read the 3rd
paragraph, and then you'll go "Oh". Anyway, it says this at the end:
"Yesterday, July 10th, Silence Day, I broke my 24 year Who silence and
released a new Who record called Wire & Glass. Later today, July 11th,
because Polydor have decided on a modest Limited Edition I expect it to be
completely sold out."
So, maybe it was released....
