Brian quoted: "...led into a song titled "Bargain" from their upcoming album. It lacked familiarity but boasted the usual Townshend quality."


This was a hilarious gaff, but I watched the Hyde Park show last night and it's easy to see how the idiot reporter made this mistake.

Just before "Bargain", Pete announced: "This is a song from the 'Who's Next' album".  This could easily have been amusingly misconstrued as "This is a song from The Who's next album."
