The Who close T In The Park weekend

The curtain fell on this year's T In the Park weekend
at Balado in Perthshire, Scotland with an outstanding
performance from legendary band The Who. 

The group's festival debut heralded the start of a
worldwide tour to celebrate their first studio album
since It's Hard, which was released nearly 25 years
ago. 

Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey kicked off with an
explosive rendition of I Can't Explain to roaring
cheers from fans young and old. Pete Townshend told
the revellers: "It's an honour to be back in Scotland
and to be at this fantastic festival." 

Townshend also told the crowd how lucky they were to
have so many great musicians performing for them at
the weekend event. He added that he was gutted he
couldn't see rockers Primal Scream who were headlining
in the nearby King Tut's Wah Wah Tent...
