y know, with these recent technical problems the who have been having
onstage, and roger's voice giving out. this could be a sign that the who should just
pack it in and call it a day. i'm sorry, but, like I've said here a million
times it seems, they just not "the who" anymore. I've seen a few of the "encore"
DVDs and it's pretty embarassing hearing roger trying to go after those big
notes and coming up with alot of strain. let's hope his throat is still intact
when the tour is over.
after hearing rog's take on "that's Life" from his (rather good) performance
on "CSI", who knows? maybe that should be his next direction. roger doing what
rod stewart did and maybe tackling the standards. OR, here's another one,
since he said last year that he wants to do a country album, maybe THAT should be
his next direction. I wouldn't mind hearing daltrey tackle Johnny cash songs.
big fan of both. hell, springsteen went a bit "country" and somehow got away
with it. so why not?

or maybe scorsese should put him in his next gangster movie. ::in a gilbert
gottfried voice:: SCORSESE! WHAT'S TAKING SO LONG?! ; )
