It comes from dealing with the music business, don't you think? Since
Rachel started out, she's been shit on by Universal, constantly flamed by
trolls, expected to give away music for free, and courted by false fans who
only want to see Pete. All the time, she's worked like a slave to put
together her shows, done them without sleep, in blasting heat and run into
debt doing it. Sound familiar?
I'd say changes in her statements about the tix have to do with seeing the
demand. There are more than 75 people wanting tix, an indication that there
will be a bidding war. I'll bet she's had a bit of thought on Roger's
financial philosophy, looked at her costs, and she's going to put a pretty
steep price on this gig coming up. If not, then she needs to.
