There's currently no plans to release Wire & Glass in the US.

So just order it from Amazon.co.uk .  Many other people in the US have, without any problem.  Shipping is no problem, it's not too expensive, and you'll have it in a few days.

I think that The Who (well, Pete at least) knew that US fans could buy it on the Internet this way.  Therefore they realised they could cut out a lot of their production / shipping costs just by releasing the CD in the UK.  Plus it makes the CD look better in the UK sales charts.
