As an artist, Rachel's in a "best of times/worst of times" position. Being attached to Pete has given her an incredible opportunity for exposure of her own music. It's also put her firmly in Pete's shadow or perhaps put her in orbit around Pete as a satellite. 
 
If he music's genuinely any good and her personality's interesting, she'll last beyond that 15 min window. If not, then she won't.
