Well, I'm glad you're happy, Jim.
But, I'm sure there are plenty of Who fans who are also Rachel fans who
happen *not* to participate on her blog, or any blog, for that matter.
They won't be happy. And, frankly, it's a bit insulting to Who fans to
presume that they won't enjoy Rachel's work too. I for one, if I could
swing NY on that date (sorry, I'll have to wait until 9/18), would
*love* to go to this show to enjoy Pete, and anyone else up on stage. I
would have a grand time, I'm sure of it. If the show will be so
Rachel-centric, and Who fans won't enjoy themselves, then there
shouldn't be a problem. But it's not. Pete will be there. Pete will be
playing. It is insulting to Who fans to 'assume' that they can only
appreciate Pete. It also shows what and where Rachel's real mind-set is.
She is building resentment of Who fans, and this won't help. It goes
hand-in-hand with her recent, and recently dissected, post.
I can't think of another show where preferential access is given to a
given demographic. Or, in this case, preferential access is *prevented*
to a given demographic.
Just another example to me of biting the hand that feeds her.

P.S. "hardline" who fans wouldn't be so rude as to continually shout
out "Magic Bus." It's the everyday fan (schlubbs) that tend to do that.
Those dolts won't even know about this.
