So, I'm waxed up and surfing around Who-ville last evening, and given recent 
discussions about rosier posts from Rachel, I get a wild hair and decide to 
check out her blog.
I find this.....

"So, although nothing is absolutely pinned down, its looking like we will be 
doing a live ATTIC JAM from JOES PUB in New York on 14th September at 
approx. 7pm.
I am hoping to have 75 tickets with first refusal for my bloggers. Pete will 
be playing, but so will I, Mikey and Simon, so it is important to me that at 
such an intimate venue, we don't have all the tickets bought by scalpers or 
hardline Who fans who will not enjoy themselves. "

Sorry, but that just doesn't sit well.
Who says we wouldn't enjoy ourselves?
And, isn't this just plain padding the audience?  Seems very Bush-ish to me.
I for one am gathering 20 of my closest friends and we're planning on 
rushing the place!  ;-)
I dunno.  Here's the cynical take.....'you got the notoriety you currently 
have *BECAUSE* of "hardline Who fans!"
Sheesh, show some appreciation.

Here's further information on this "intimate" show that Pete will be 
headlining.   ;-)

"when the tickets for joes pub go on pre-sale, i will give you the link to 
go get 'em.
tickets will be limited to 2 per person, will be collected on the door, and 
you will have to show ID.
this is to stop the scalpers.
