Anyone else agree?  Or I'm I just reading too much
into these lyrics, 
and seeing something that isn't really there?<<<<

Na, i think this is more a go at the press, in
general. About the press wanting more and more stories
to fuel the legend of Pete and Rog's music paper fued
in the 70s.

Pete hates the written word in our daily press here.
Has no respect for them. That's my guess.
