Keith and Tourettes

I agree.  Also, as with many sufferers, they self medicate with drugs, alcohol (or other things).  When Keith first started drumming, he was not a drinker, but as we all know, that changed and he became the biggest drug/alcohol user. 
   
  He definitely was sociable and for the most part, very lovable.

I'd suspect bipolar or Tourettes before autism. I think mildly autistic 
people more often gravitate to engineering than entertainment, as they have 
difficulty in social interactions. From what I can tell, Keith interacted 
with people very well and was very sociable and lovable.
