>>Here's the song Pete debuted last week on the Attic show.

>Ha! Pete's a genius when he's not harping on about his God!

This one was breathtaking. Also, I'm confused now about what's going to be
on the album and what's going to be on the EP. This sounds very much like
material from TBWHM, but he said Roger was working on it for the album,
presumably the fall one, as the mini-opera is already done.

>>He raised up a light to her
>She did not fight
>For her shudder (?)
>Had frozen her heart

>Awkward. Need to hear it with the music....

The music is a bit eerie, and Pete put in an amazing performance (after a
couple of false starts) in playing it on acoustic and singing it at the same
time.

>>Like a butterfly broke on a wheel

>Beautiful. The b-alliteration. Classic Townshend. Bring this
>motherfucker on.

This is one of those songs that would send me looking for the rest of the
material, so I hope it's going to be all together in one piece for us--not
just snippets here and there.

I'm getting a touch worried now about hearing so much of his new music in
demo form--like maybe it would spoil the wonder of the new album. If
they've switched to doing an opera, this one could be another TOMMY.

>>Reflection was always her art

>Yes, it was. Bring it on, Pete.

HIS art. Yes, bring it on! :)
