Woops I scewed up on my History lesson. The First Convention in Shepherds Bush
was September 16th 1995 at the Bottom Line. Nice venue.

The second convention was at The Astoria Charing Cross Rd September 7th 1998

somehow I used the wrong decade in my post ( 2005 and 2008)...please excuse me.

The First was amazing because there were no expectations. Tickets were sold either
for the afternoon or evening ( or both). I was jetlagged and had not planned to see the
Evening Show however Andy Neil gave me a nudge and told me it would be worthwhile
to come back ( without letting the cat out of the bag).
