Chicago DJs keep the 60s Mod movement alive and swingin

Hope you die before you get old? Well, Pete Townshend, stick around and
catch MODchicago spin their favorite Mod, soul and psych records tonight at
Delilahs, 2771 N. Lincoln Ave.
MODchicago are a disc-jockey group keeping Mod culture alive a youth
culture that reached its peak in the mid-60s, defined by well-tailored
suits, motorscooters and punk/new wave sounds of bands like the Who.
MODchicago do their part by playing rare and respected sounds of the 60s at
monthly bar nights and festivals. The Delilahs Mod Takeover night, which
occurs on the first Thursday of every month, features DJs Eric Colin and Ben
Pirani.
