THE WHO frontman ROGER DALTREY has thrilled die hard fans by making a
surprise appearance at this year's (06) annual The Who Convention. The
SUBSTITUTE hitmaker visited London's Bush Hall on Saturday (01APR06) along
with PETE TOWNSHEND's brother SIMON and sang songs including BEHIND BLUE
EYES. Organiser/fan RON DOVEY says, "It was absolutely superb. People can't
believe he came to our convention and sang for us." The event is organised
by fans and benefits Daltrey's favoured charity the Teenage Cancer Trust.
