>Hi to you all.

Wow, great, bl**dy great....well you get where i am coming from.....yes the
who convention 2006 !!!! We are only sorry that we had to leave at 9pm !!

Well done and a BIG THANK YOU to Ron and all of the team. You gave us all a
great day out !

Some of you know that i was displaying my scooter at the show. I would like
to say on behalf of myself and my Daughter Beth, thank you for this
privaliage. To see my scooter in the pages of the convention book was great,
something that Beth will keep forever.

Beth has been a growing fan from an early age (now 11 ) she had been looking
forward to yesterday for a long time.

I have never met Irish Jack before and it was great to have a chat with him
and for him to pose on my scooter. What a great guy he is, happy to chat to
Beth and all throughout the day give her a smile and a kind word. He
introduced us to a fellow irish man called James. Again i would like to say
a big thank you to James for including Beth and even giving her some of his
Raffle prize stickers!
I couldn't find james to say we were leaving last night, so James i hope you
read this.

Well what can i say, the stalls the people and the bands were great!

But what a surprise when Roger walked in....WOW!!!!
In the hall Beth and I stood next to him and i asked if he would have his
picture taken on my scooter...he said he would on his way out. as we stood
with him he dropped some money on the floor. He didn't seem to notice, but
Beth saw the 2 pound coins and tapped him and explained that he had dropped
them. Giving them back to him and smiling. He smiled at her and thanked her,
saying that he thought he might have dropped something.

Talk about make a girls heart melt ! this made her day, year etc
etc......telling me later....Dad i never thought i would ever see him let
alone talk to him !
Then to top it all off we all got treated to behind blue eyes...which is my
personel favorite and substitute ..one of Beth's favorites. It's moments
like these that will live with you forever !!!
My day was made when, on his way out i managed to get him to sit on my
scooter for a picture ! I could only get the one and you can just make out
the seat, as i was to close to get any more of the scooter in. But hey who
cares.....My hero has now sat on my scooter !!!!!

When we got home a very tired Beth displayed all her pictures and posters
that we had bought and told her mum all about her day. What a day it was,
how i loved to give her her first experience of the Who...but for it to go
beyond all expectations.

Thanks again to all of the Team that gave us such a brilliant day.
