Repost from TheShout:

>Apologies for the brevity of this posting I have just got back from London
>and am off to bed. The Convention was truly amazing - I had to leave early
>during the WHOLIGANS set to get the train home but they were fantastic -
>they had some teething troubles with equipment but took these in their
>stride

WHOs WHO were cool too. Quad isnt one of my favourite WHO album but I really
enjoyed their set plus they played some extras afterwards WGFA, My Gen (& My
Gen Blues) Roadrunner. My favourite was Bellboy - their drummer does a
really good impression of Moonie !

Casbah Club were great too. I shook Simons hand at one point during the day,
smiled at Mark Brzezicki and Bruce Foxton smiled at me and touched my
shoulder and patted my back.

Also I met up with load of really cool and BEAUTIFUL WHO people today. Hi to
you all I love you all !!! - it was an amazing day - I have some pics (not
many) but won't be able to post them till tomorow night

Oh by the way, in case this is of interest to you - ROGER was there
!!!!!!!!! (for about 10- 15 mins) I shook his hand too and spoke to him
saying to him it was great to see him and nice to meet him - he said thats
OK. I was blown away - I will never wash my hand again !!!! He has a very
strong grip and the bluest of eyes. He sang acoustic versions of BBE and
Substitute with Simon and I got a couple of pics of him as he left the show
getting into his Merc to go to the RAH show tonight he briefly spoke about
recording the new album

THANKS TO ALL THE WONDERFUL ORGANISERS OF THIS MOST WONDERFUL CONVENTION AND
TO THE AMAZING BANDS
