Yes.  I disagree.

;-)

I actually like the melody of "2000 Years."  It reminds me of something
(can't think of what).  "Purple Dress" I liked less.  But I gotta listen to
them again.

Yeah, I'm a bit bummed at the overt religious tone of "2000 Years."
You'll be waiting for quite some time, Pete.  There's no truth to be found 
in that line of "reasoning," I'm afraid.

I notice the results of the first extensive research study into the powers
of prayer were released this week.  It cost $2.4 million, involved 1,802
cardiac care patients, & three groups of believers all praying to Pete's
Christian God.

The study found that prayer "doesn't appear to improve the patient's
health."+  In fact, the control group of patients who *knew* they were
being prayed for actually "fared significantly worse than people who 
got no prayers."+

Funny that.  Perhaps Pete will write a song about it.  Email me off-list
if you'd like to learn more about this study.
