It's fairly common for US columists to quote The Who, but this seems unusual 
for UK writers.  Do you suppose they're suddenly discovered The Who after 
all these years?

“Meet the new boss, the same as the old boss,” The Who’s Roger Daltrey sang 
in the hit song Won’t Get Fooled Again. Behind Daltrey’s manic screams was 
the message that although governments may come and go, political upheavals 
only ever maintain the status quo.

That will be something in front of mind for many public sector recruiters, 
who will no doubt be hoping there will not be radical change in the public 
sector if the next general election goes awry for Labour.
