Man wins $100,000 in 'Pinball Wizard'
A Des Moines man could retire earlier or vacation
someplace warm thanks to a recent lottery win.

Michael McGee of Des Moines won $100,000 playing the
"Pinball Wizard" instant scratch game. He purchased
his ticket at Dahl's Foods, 3425 Ingersoll Ave. in Des

McGee claimed his prize at Iowa Lottery headquarters
in Des Moines, accompanied by his longtime girlfriend,
Lois Buss.

McGee's is the seventh top prize of $100,000 claimed
in the game. Three more top prizes have yet to be
claimed, along with more than 30 prizes of $1,000 and
approximately 260 prizes of $150.

Since the Iowa Lottery's inception in 1985, more than
$1.77 billion has been awarded in prizes and more than
$890 million has been raised for state programs.
