Great post Ryan, I think you nailed it. Doc is conservative and when things are going wrong he gets even more so, relying on his vets to play longer and harder... except when he tries to 'surprise' people, like he did with that odd ball lineup to start the 4th.
Yes, you need to rest your starters, but NO you don't need to cobble together an untested lineup that includes people who have been rusted to the bench. And I think you are accurate on how the yo-yo lineups effect the confidence of the younger players.
I agree too with your statements on Rondo we need more of him and more of him used the right way. I wouldn't mind seeing Cassell so much if he were at shooting guard spelling Ray rather than paralyzing the entire offense at PG.
