Be it ever so humble....?

Ok, weird ideas have been known to work. So it was with great
interest I read the article in today's Boston Globe that stated the
Celtics ownership had remade the C's travelling camp into a "home
away from home" rigging radios, breakfasts, and sightseeing tours to
resemble, as closely as possible, the city of Boston. They also
apparently intend to import home fans to sit near the Cav's court and
even a local musician to perform the National Anthem in the locker
room before the game. Supposedly, they've even dragged David Stern
into this, gaining permission to wear their home colors in Cleveland.

Ok, it does seem silly on the surface. But for years, regular
travellers have done similar things, albeit on a much smaller scale,
bringing their own alarm clocks, a personal picture, or even their
own pillow from home, to make them rest more easily in an unfamiliar
hotel room in a city far from home. And, for most of them, it works.

After the last disaster in Cleveland, I'm game for anything that
works. Up to an including making Bill Russell throw up before the
start of the game.

So, here's the Celtics Beagle, rooting for Boston in their home away from home!
