PP

While Allen's shooting problems are obvious, I'm starting to get worried
about PP.  His offense has become similar to Lebrons'.  Get the ball at
the top of the key, wait for a couple of seconds for the defense to get
set up, that means all 5 of them, and then go on his adventure to the
basket.  Why do we have to stop everything when he gets the ball?  Can't
the coaches set up some quick pops for him inside of 15 ft with some
screens so that as soon as he comes back for the pass and gets the ball
he shoots?  

 

I'm not even going to ask why we can't put in House to try a few shots
himself.  His shooting percentages can't be worse than Ray Allen's.
Also his defense though maybe not much better sure is more aggressive.
I'll add to Ryan once said.  Not only doesn't Ray ever dive for a loose
ball, he doesn't give up the body even when he jumps for a loose ball.  

 

That said, it would be nice if he got going, maybe with semi drives to
the basket to where he could either shoot a short jumper or give to it
to someone else.
