Hey it won't be the first time. I predicted we'd win by 20 in game 4
at Atlanta. Meanwhile how many minutes did your boy Tony get last
night in a crucial game?
I just looked at the salary and age difference of the two teams.
We're at $75.5 this season and $74.8 next season.
Atlanta has a payroll of $55.9 this season and $51.7 for next
season with all 9 of their rotation players returning under contract.
The age difference of both team's rotations is even more striking.
Atlanta's 9 man rotation averages 23.6 yrs. old, while our 9 man
rotation averages 30 yrs. old.
Let's hope we beat the sh-t out of Atlanta at home tomorrow and
go on from there. I think we match up better with Cleveland than
the Wiz who beat us 3 times this season. Pierce's second-rate
actions have been disappointing and costly, and Garnett and Allen have
also been disappointing in not being able to take charge in the last
5 minutes of each lost game. Looks like Allen's legs are gone.
As for the FT disparity, if we'd have taken the damn ball to the hoop
(Garnett)
more often instead of settling for jumpers we might have gotten to the FT
line as
often as Atlanta did.
