I agree about KG's overall greatness & level of zeal, and that he's
usually a good communicator on the court, but disagree about his
concentration.

In pressure games I've seen KG lose concentration, get too hyped/tense,
and miss lots of midrange shots that are usually layups to him (like in
this close Mav's game where Dirk was outperforming him). At end of
playoff games I've seen him go into passing mode where he doesn't even
attempt to be dominant. On the other hand, fellow MVP's like Bird/Tim
also give fierce effort but concentrate better & keep a rein on their
emotions, & produce under pressure.

Speaking of chatterbox communicators, it's interesting that in the 4th
quarter when Kevin started hitting more of his shots(he was around 33%
for a while & was fairly quiet verbally), that it was Sam being the
director/talker, getting in KG's face and giving positive reinforcement.
Also in the huddle when Doc said something like "We have to win the rest
of the hustle plays, Bench we need you right now", Cassell is the one
that instantly shouted back "You got it", like he's naturally speaking
for the team.

Kevin Garnett is the
single driving unstoppable force directing the team toward that
direction.
... Don't know of any other player ever with
his concentration or zeal in the History of Basketball.
