Good point. In the afterglow of last night's win, I was thinking how
awesome it is to win BOTH games of a back-to-back at all. Throw in both
games in the road and it is more impressive, and against the champs and
the hottest team in the NBA! This has been an amazing week. Watch out
in Dallas, though. The Lakers just whupped them, and it could be a
let-down for the Green Guys. Leon goes from DNP-CD to 21 points?
Wowzers. Watch Scal burn the Mavs for 40. Speaking of Scal, from what I
read, I bet he's giving 100% in practice, cheering as loud as ever. He
just doesn't strike me as a guy who would whine about not getting
minutes or shots or whatever - he's happy to be contributing at all.
I have been trying to think of some zen reason for the Utah loss,
though. Heinsohn was loud from the start not to underestimate the Jazz,
and he was right: they beat the Cs about as thoroughly as any team has
all year. The Cs were at home and rested. What happened?

How quiet we've become. Our posting seems inversely proportional to the
team's success. Reminds me of shareholder meetings: when the company is
doing well, no one shows up except members of the board and staff.
Another
analogy: good news doesn't sell newspapers or boost TV ratings.
Given how well Danny has filled all the roster spots, it's certainly no
wonder that trade and draft talk has dried up.
