Ticket Prices: YIPE!

I'm going to be in Houston for the Celtics game (my wife has a theatre
conference), and I figured I'd see if any seats were available.
Holy sheep! From $450 for side, and not too close to around $110 for
nosebleed section. Who goes to these games? I figured I'd be willing to
pay Broadway theatre prices ($130 or so for good seats), but this left
me out.

I'm old enough to remember the (apparently) good old days when we went
to the Gahden (no, the one in NYC) for $5 side loge and $2.50 end seats,
right under the hoop, and could get a doubleheader with Wilt & Russ. The
cigar smoke was free.
