We're going to the playoffs!

Just to piggyback a bit on what Kim said: the
officiating was horrible. I was at the game last
night, and had a pretty good sightline. The
difference in the way the game was called was huge,
especially in the treatment Chauncey and Rondo
recieved. I'm pretty sure every single bump that
Chauncey got was called a foul (and some non-bumps as
well), while Rondo only had one bump translated into a
foul--the bait-job Eric referenced. Yelling at the
refs doesn't help much (I'm hoarse today), but I think
Rondo needs to learn how to help them help him by
exaggerating the bumps he receives so they can notice
them. Rondo is so athletic that he can keep his
balance and still try to make the shot, which is all
the excuse the refs need to not call anything.
Chauncey, on the other hand, exaggerates everything
that happens to him and he gets almost every call he
wants, usually on very slight bumps.
On Perk: I swear he only had 10 rebounds when he left
the game in the third quarter, which means he got 10
rebs alone in the fourth. Is that right? Also, props
to Doc for finally trusting Perk in the fourth
quarter.
On Tony's phantom Tech: total crap. Basically, he
just yelled and swung his arm for emphasis, all
probably in the space of less than a second. Javie
T's him up, not even hearing what he said. Wallace
goes into a whole routine of flinging his arms and
cocking his head and bunch of other bullshit over the
span of 30 seconds and hardly gets any notice from the
refs, yet Tony (who was legitimately fouled on the
play in question, by Wallace I think) has a
split-second reaction after getting knocked down and
he gets the T? That's bullshit.
On Rondo dunk: I swear I saw the twinkle in his eye
when he decided he was going to dunk it. He shifted
into another gear (and then another after that), got
bumped about 3 times by Hamilton and then just flushed
it. The place went bonkers. And man did he get hit
hard.
