Defense against Miami

Jaims........... my barbs (and twisted sense of humor) regarding Scal
are borne out of frustration and the insistence of this coaching staff
to give him valuable playing time at the expense of more skilled
players. Left to play the role of 12th (15th) man, buffoon, team mascot,
general all around good egg, ambulance driver for injured
players.....would suit me fine. Starting NBA games for a team with
championship aspirations is an abomination. My comments should be
directed at those making the decisions, but I've seen lots of messages
floating around stating that we also shouldn't be criticizing the "all
star" coach, so I direct my frustration at Scal. Is it fair, probably
not. In conclusion, yes I am thrilled with the teams record, no I don't
think Doc is a good coach, no I don't think Scal contributes anything on
court to this basketball team, despite being an outstanding human being.

i, myself, have held off rants and darts against the team's weak points
(doc, scal, allen's slumps...etc) so far coz we are simply winning. i
told
myself, i need to get off doc's back for now coz again, they are still
at
the top.

i know this is a free speech forum but i'd wanna say let's all lighten
up
and just enjoy the ride for now.

to add to hart's post, i am no scal fan but i also see the effort is
there
and it was ainge who offered the contract in the first place so it's
moot to
crucify this guy (he's no blount at least), lastly the team chemistry is
great now so why fix it if it ain't broke?
