Detroit: rocked city

I hear you guys about Doc having Tony Allen play point
in crunch time against pressure. Why? Tony doesn't
just have a below average handle for a point guard, he
seemingly has a below average handle for a basketball
player. He has trouble with the dribble unguarded at
times. And when Ray Allen is on the court, why force
Tony to play PG?
While we're on the subject of boneheaded moves, why
did Doc have Ray Allen, the man of five fouls,
guarding Billups down the stretch, and again while
Tony Allen is on the court. You could see it, Ray had
no choice but to simply get out of the way when
Billups drove late so as not to pick up his sixth
foul. Maybe Doc just got his Allens confused. Maybe he
really meant to have Tony guard Chauncey and Ray play
the point. Maybe there was a miscommunication in the
huddle.
And this is the guy who's going to mastermind No. 17?

But anyway, great game. Great win. Great Big Baby.
What a joy to watch. If it weren't for Doc's
boneheaded coaching moves, I might be totally happy.

Nathan A.
