>From Yahoo Sports: When Garnett was in the game, Boston outscored Detroit by 23. When the superstar was on the bench, the Pistons outscored the Celtics by 16.
Pierce the team Horse played 46min and had plenty left at the end. Can't say enough about the conditioning of the Celts. Davis gets a little winded but he's a load and it doesn't stop him. We need another player(s) to take the defensive attention off the Big Three. Davis may be the one.
Billups played down the loss as just another season game. He's wrong, it's huge. We now have a decent rotation and 2nd squad whose point guard could be several different players because of Rondo's lack of leadership at times. Missing layups, free throws and defensive assignments must be addressed. As erratic as T. Allen is he gets the team moving and they play more emotionally. He kept he Celts within striking distance in the 1st half.
With the upcoming schedule a breather compared to the Western trip, Doc has to find substantial minutes for Davis to hone his skills.
