Yes, scale brain is an anagram (I think that's the word) for Scalabrine.

Pierce tried to get him involved, at the beginning of the game, passing
up an easy two for a ... brick. Later, they fed him underneath, twice.
He lost one and got foulded, or shoved on the other.

Is it [his 'popularity'] cause he's white? To me, during games, I never
notice race. It's "us" against "them" and that's far more significant
than mere skin color. Ginobilli is a foul-tard, etc. etc. We're all
green, to be perfectly honest, except Scal is incompetent and reflects
badly on our "green race". That's how I see it. (If only real life were
as simple!)
