some thoughts

5. Big Baby is out of shape, period. He has good skills when he can
catch his breath though.

There is such a huge difference between rookie year and second year!
Remember AJ and all his baby fat. Maybe Davis can winter at the same gym
that Powe uses!

This team continues to prove what I have long believed: a good team is
good because the whole team is good, not just one or two players. Our
play without KG proves that.

In 2 years, Rondo will be one of the 3 best guards in the league. If
Allen ever gets his head on straight (doubtful), those two would be the
premier backcourt. But Allen is what he is, and we get the bad with the
(exceptionally) good.

Posey, Powe and Davis make a pretty decent front court. Powe's last
tenth-of-a-second shot against Minn., after Allen was grossly fouled,
was an exceptional play for a young guy: instead of paying attention to
Allen, he was focused only on scoring. I love that guy!

Scalabrine does a lot of little things: poking, waving on defense,
knocking rebounds to others. It's just he cannot do the "big" things.
Like scoring and passing. But at least he has no illusions of becoming a
#11, rather than a #12!
