In LALA land the lakers think they have the deepest bench
Why is Garnet getting no MVP discussion? Here it is all Kobe & Chris Paul?

Amen!
During the game (or pregame), Tommy was talking about minutes in the
playoffs and posited that the Cs might go 10 deep, using Posey, Leon, Cassell,
House, Davis, and Brown. Seems to me that few teams go more than 9 deep, and most
go with 8. Is this team the exception? It's hard to see ANY of those five
sitting out for the rest of the year, although I'd concede that on that 10
main roster, Brown is #10 and House #9.
Gabe, Scal, Pollard: sorry guys, have a seat.
Round One: Cs 4-0.

As to one of the best stories - go get 'em Leon, now 3rd on our team
in PP 48 min, while now playing enough min to make that somewhat
meaningful - actually, if I've calculated right, I think tonight
moved him into 2nd, although that's in part because his minutes are
so much fewer than the obvious top two. I don't know which games it
will be, but Leon is going to make an impression in some playoff
games, and not just grabbing rebounds. People talk about Tony and his
knees, but Leon had knee surgery too - that's part of why he was
there for us to draft in the second round. And while they didn't seem
to be actively hindering him before, he's just exploding with
athleticism to go with that confidence now.
