>>Tommy was talking about minutes in the playoffs and
posited that the Cs might go 10 deep, using Posey,
Leon, Cassell, House, Davis, and Brown.
Wouldn't that be 11 deep? Also - I have a hard time
thinking T. Allen won't get some burn as a perimeter
defender. My guess: Cassell will be the first guard
off the bench, and Doc will either play Tony or House
as events warrant. Leon and Posey are the main
frontcourt reserves, with Brown getting situational
minutes as needed, followed by Davis. (I say that not
as a Davis critic - I love the kid - but recognizing
that, in the playoffs, coaches tend to go with
experience. Leon will be the exception there because
he's simply playing too well for Doc to sit him;
assuming we make it to the ECF against Detroit, it
could be fun to see him go up against Maxiell.)
One last point: by winning 66 games, the C's tied for
10th-best regular season record in NBA history.
