I concur with Kim's assessment of the pocillivist. 

And I most definitely second the motion to listen to Mark Spears.  Talk about fresh air!  After years of inflicting us with the likes of Michael "Iago" Holley, Peter 'Where's Waldo?' May and his poodle Shira, the Globe wised up to the fact that everyone was reading Bulpett and went out and got a REAL basketball writer.  

I cannot applaud his reporting skills enough.  I hope he's around for a while.

But it is nice of you to prove his other point so promptly for him.

Although Paul, that does work both ways, right? I mean I don't 
particularly want to listen to name calling rants (and it's so easy 
to insult people without them), but neither have I ever bought into 
the idea of Egg as completely innocent victim who wouldn't dream of 
picking on others and would never do anything to instigate people 
into attacks on herself which she then complains about. They don't 
have to rise to the bait, much less so violently, but that's not the 
same as its not being offered.

Anyway, I hate to bring things back on topic, but if you get a chance 
all, do listen in tonight to Marc Spears. He's a good guy, who does a 
great job of combining being a pro and a fan and really knows his 
stuff - both current and hoops history.
