Regarding Pierce and your negative view that he still "has a long way to go", can you agree that he has been leading the Celtics while Garnett has been injured? His stats for the past 9 games (23ppg, 5rpg, 4.5apg, 36mpg) show that he can lead the team and not just for personal fame. And by the way he is also the current Celtics captain.

A famous quote in Celtics folklore:

"He is a leader. He is a leader of the Celtics and he will be until he retires."
