Just for conversation sake, remember when some writers/commentators  
were warning the Celtics to trade the "Big Three" before it was too  
late?
No one could think of such a thing, trading Bird, McHale, or Parish,  
so they were allowed to fade away past their trading value, while  
taking up too much salary room to rebuild.
What happened to those Celtics teams from the late eighties, early  
nineties? How many years to become "relevant" again?

Ps. ...and  please don't bring up Bias, as there is no way this team  
can trade for such a high draft pick.
Could they get lucky again and draft a Jefferson, Rondo, Gomes, Allen  
and West? Sure, but ................
