< Egg my darling,
Even though I am not Danny's biggest admirer, I do confess that
in acquiring such fine veterans as KG and Ray Allen, Ainge has just
given this team their best starting lineup in quite some time. And
though we may bemoan the idiosyncrasies of Eddie House, James
Posey and Scott Pollard at one time or another, they definitely have
the NBA experience to potentially make valuable contributions
off the bench.
I still love you though :-) >

Cecil, m'dear, it's gratifying to know the flame still burns.
But, YOU WILD AND CRAZY CANADIAN, just because you
are a big-time sports talk show celebrity up North doesn't excuse
your misrepresentation that I was referring to House, Pollard
and Posey. My reference was to the lack of veterans/FA signings
over the past several seasons when Ainge went with way too
many recent draftees and way too few veterans. Now, due to the
financial failure of PLAN A, like a laddie who goes this way and
that way and this way and that, he has done a complete about-face
to PLAN B ... too many aging vets and too few upcoming prospects.
But who cares? In the end, love conquers all, eh?

< Yes, they {Seattle} did get very young and that will work if
they bring in good veterans to help the kiddies along. > - Asterix
< You mean like Danny did (or is it didn't)? > - Egg
