i understand everyone's skittishness about going into
the season expecting rondo to play big minutes and
play well, but count me as one who thinks he's more
than up to the task. in some games last year, he was
the best player on the floor, in spite of his
inability to shoot. 

in his second year, he'll be a lock-down defender,
start finishing his drives better and become the next
great floor leader for the celtics. i think having the
big 3 with him will take the pressure off and let him
fill in the gaps, which i believe is what he does
best.
