Yes, without Jason Kidd that American team would almost certainly have been smoked.      Not sure what relevance anyone can take out of those slaughters. 

And since we're talking about a Troy Hudson/Milt Palacio/Anthony Carter  type non-talent playing 15 minutes a game -- not trading for Kidd or Billups -- the Cs are just fine without them.

As far as bringing up anything Peter May writes, the insufferable Celt-hater is having a  harder time criticizing everything they do. Never mentioned in his whole article how awful Hudson is, how no one else wants him and how he has played 40 games once in the last four years. Just how daft Danny must be for not wanting this rare talent.
