Bd, if you will keep sending the 30, we can comment on them; it might make Sept. pass more quickly.

I have several comments on his treatment of the Celts. I don't think other contenders are really deep in the bench. San Antonio was falling down last year and were saved by the bell (aka Cleveland). They have some young possibilities, but the bench is their problem, along with the fragile Ginobili. Dallas has a better bench. Phoenix had bench troubles. Detroit may be better. Miami is weak. All in all, I don't think that will be our problem if we get that far.

Rondo is unknown. We're the only ones who have seen much of him and I think his positives are much more than his negatives--chiefly, inexperience. The lack of a backup could be keenly felt, but Rondo is better than people think who have merely seen a few games or read the press about him.

Posey is a real difference maker. He upgrades our sixth man position immensely. Not having to depend on Scal or Wallace for those minutes is big, very big.

All in all, I think he got our tune right, he was just a little flat on a few notes. Gene
