Powe and Davis - At Center? Really? Wow. Okay.

 

Then again if Batista was 6' 10" than so am I. I think Posey was taller
than he was.

 

I'm not really lamenting the person being let go, just the policy. I'm
thinking in terms of if/then statement.

 

"If you have two guys you don't really WANT to play, but might have to
play in case of injury or fouls; then would you rather have one be at a
position you have four other guys to play at or just one (Pollard)?"

 

Garnett CAN play a lot of minutes at center. I personally don't think we
want him to as it makes him a weaker defender (he's much better in space
and face up than body to body). Sure, there are some centers in makes
sense (Bargnani (sp?) is an example) because they too are jump shooters
and not post players, but the majority of Centers are bangers (Curry,
Shaq, Howard, etc).

 

Anyway I'm not crying over Batista. I'm bemoaning a lack of big man
depth at the C position.
