Celtic Thug: Celtics Discussing Trade For Damon Stoudamire

I actually think Stoudamire would be a great fit with the Celtics, but I
hope they don't do this deal. I like Big Baby a lot.

Still, they're clearly loading up for a run over the next two seasons.
Big Baby isn't going to help in that timeframe. Under that thinking, I
can see why they'd do something like this. And I can completely
understand Memphis trying to turn Stoudamire into a promising young
frontcourt player -- especially one with a built-in fan base in that
region. That's a great trade for them -- which means Chris Wallace would
be making yet another good move (he has made a few since taking over in
Memphis). What the hell?

Of course, we're talking about a rumor from Celtic Thug, so I feel
ridiculous having spent the last five minutes even thinking about it.

Memphis new GM Chris Wallace was a big fan of Glen
Davis when he was playing at LSU.  As I was told this
deal was in the works the moment the Celtics traded
for Ray Allen and Glenn Davis on draft night.
