bball?

One piece I read said that the arena had the vibe of a playoff game.
This was two early East favorites trying to make a statement to each
other. Cleveland's startes played as many minutes as Boston's, if I
recall right. Someone had to lose. The Cs could have won, but there's
no way I call this a devastating loss. To play last year's finalist on
teh road and hang even through 48 minutes ain''t too shabby. Let's
just not make a habit of it.

I caught some of the game last night. Thought big baby looked decent,
brought
energy to the game. This is the second time i have seen big baby in
extended
minutes and i don't see how he is ever going to be able to consistently
finish
under the basket. He just doesn't have the height or lift.

That said, he could have a decent career as a 10-15 minute a night
change of
pace energy type guy. bring him in and have him knock people around
for awhile.

I would be happy seeing him get more (or all) of scalacrappi's minutes
but also
realize the more mintues he plays the more his flaws will be exposed.

Not sure if he'll ever be as good as Ryan Gomes (another undersized
forward,
albeit with a slightly different game), which is probably not much of a
compliment though as Gomes seems to regress every year.

11-2 works for me, but playing RA, PP, KG, and RR 44+ minutes as they
did last
night (and yes i know it was OT), is only going to open us up for
injuries down
the road.

We have the best team in the east if healthy, so let's rest the 3 vets
and go
into the playoffs with the 4th, get home court in round 1, and then
take it from
there.
