Two clips below and after 12 games I'm finally going to say it. We're a
better team when Garnett is at the four. We might not have better
players on the floor, but we're a better team. Perkins and Pollard (BTW
I don't believe Garnett and Pollard have shared the floor once this
year) may not be great players, but their specific skill sets, beef,
ball movement (and movement without the ball), rebounding and defense
make Garnett MUCH better than when he's at the 5. At the 5 he's the
anchor while at the 4 he's more of a roamer. That freedom heightens his
shotblocking and rebounding tremendously.
Plus - that means less Scal at the 5 or 4 (we get outrebounded every
time he's on the floor - no matter who is with him). I agree with Gene -
right now Scal's plusses are not equaling his minuses (rebounding
especially).
So more Pollard + More Perk = even better Garnett.

We need to keep Garnett at the four to be at our best. That's a bottom
line to me. Cheers, Gene
KG gets a bit more comfortable at the 5 going small, and I don't see a
chance for anyone else replacing him. - AG
