Cream of East

Yesterday the Nets did some of that with Garnett so the Celts inverted
the positions. They put KG out about 18 ft and Perk in his place with
Rondo filling in the other post on the run. Both were wide open for a
couple of plays with Rondo sinking the shots and that was that for that
stragedy at this point in time.

The previous day O'Brien, the new coach of the Pacers tried to run the
"old 3" ragged. Doc countered that very well by spreading the minutes
and slowing down the pace with PP as the maestro.

A solid team, emphasis on team, that has talent, height and stamina and
doesn't get rattled, (Dallas) might beat us. The teams we've seen are
horrible right now.

I was thinking last night that if I were playing the
Celtics, I'd doubleteam KG all night, because his
rebounding and D seem to be setting the table for
everything else. Then I'd put my best perimeter
defender on Allen, because he's making things so much
easier for Pierce. You barely even have to worry about
defending Perkins and Rondo, of course. So if you can
