Horrific Doesn't Adequately Describe Ford's Beat-Down Of Rondo...

There's a big difference between constructive criticism and spite.
Compare the following two statements:
"Horrific Doesn't Adequately Describe Ford's Beat-Down Of Rondo..."
"Rondo struggled last night against Ford"
They both say the same thing, one is just a lot nicer than the other.
I'll be the first to admit I'm a homer for the Celtics. I still have
fond memories of Celtics pariahs like ML Carr and Antoine and it
bothers me when people slag off on them. For better or for worse they
poured their souls into the Celtics and behaved with a great deal of
class in the community. They deserve our respect.
I feel the same way with Perkins and Rondo. These are guys that play
their hearts out for us. Have they done something wrong? Have they
treated any one of us with disrespect? If not why do they deserve that
sort of perpetual negativity? Why not be constructive?
I don't get it.
